What a blessing your music was to our family the day of our dad's funeral. He would have loved to have heard it. You play so musically. Our family is a family of musicians. Our dad was a biology teacher but also a phenomenal organist who played for hundreds of weddings, funerals, and church services. He also played professionally in supper clubs throughout the sixties, seventies, and eighties. My sister and I are both music teachers, she elementary general and I high school choral. Her husband is a band director and the man who played Taps at the service.  Our children are very musical as well. My daughter has a master's degree in vocal performance and is an opera singer, my sister's daughter plays mellophone in the U of Minnesota marching band,  her brother is an accomplished pianist. When we say we were very impressed with your performance, we mean it. It was beautiful and we thank you for making the very long trip to Westfield. People in town are still talking about it. Our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary was celebrated at home during the COVID quarantine. I arranged Meredith to come play for my husband as a surprise. Together, we arranged that she would park on the far corner of my block and play the bagpipes while walking down the entire street. It was simply the most magical experience for our family - and our whole block! Curious neighbors poured out of their houses at the sound of her music. Everyone stayed safe distance but could enjoy the haunting notes of her bagpipes. Neighbors told me it was one of the most exciting days on our street in a long time. My husband proposed in Scotland so this was truly a gift to have Meredith come to our home and neighborhood. Thank you Meredith!
